Abrasa Holding Company Limited is a Tanzanian agribusiness company incorporated on 8 May 2025, established to develop a sustainable livestock production model capable of improving food security, generating employment, strengthening rural livelihoods, and supporting environmental sustainability.
We operate from Kiwambo Village in Mkuranga District, Pwani Region, strategically located near Dar es Salaam.
Vision: To become Africa's leading climate-smart livestock enterprise.

Khamis Twalib Hamis – Founder & Managing Director
Abrasa Holding Company Limited was established from a belief that sustainable livestock development can improve food security, create employment opportunities, strengthen rural livelihoods, and contribute to long-term community resilience.
Many communities in Tanzania continue to face challenges related to unemployment, low agricultural productivity, limited economic opportunities, and inadequate access to quality animal protein. We believe livestock development can play a critical role in addressing these challenges while creating sustainable economic opportunities for future generations.
Our vision is to build a climate-smart livestock enterprise that combines innovation, environmental stewardship, food production, and inclusive community development.
Founder's Background
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness (Sokoine University of Agriculture) – additional training in livestock management and sustainable development.
- Experience: Over 12 years in agribusiness, livestock value chains, and rural development, having worked with both private sector and development organizations across Tanzania.
- Vision for Abrasa: To create a scalable, climate-resilient livestock model that serves as a benchmark for sustainable agribusiness in Africa, directly improving the lives of thousands of rural families.
